Plaster House Established in 1989 has been a manufacturer and wholesale / Retailer of plaster craft goods and services for the plaster craft community. We are pleased to offer a mold making seminars at our Orlando Facility.

Using our hands on techniques and demonstrations we will show the beginner through intermediate how to create a variety of molds using latex and other materials.

Class Size is limited to 5 students so that each attendee receives the individual instruction and attention that is deserved. This seminar will give the average storeowner a way to significantly cut costs on products purchased from your vendors.

A Typical Seminar:

DAY ONE

•  Review of materials available for molding

•  Model preparation- Proper use of sealers and release agents

•  Mold configurations-Anticipating problems

•  Mixing and pouring – Proper techniques

•  Making a block mold

•  Making a latex mold 2 and 3 dimensional

•  Hands on : Making a mold of your own creation.

DAY TWO

•  Demold of original model from mold

•  Casting materials available

•  Casting techniques

•  Casting related topics – Release agents Pigments etc

•  Hands on : Casting your own mold

Plaster House provides your lunch and light refreshments throughout the day
